According to a thread on popular shopping website FatWallet.com, a buyer was able to purchase the external high-definition peripheral for the discounted amount.The price would represent the lowest in-store discount for the device, which typically retails for $199. Samsclub.com sells the product for $181.42.

Dark_AleX update of the week: 3.40 OE-A and 3.30 OE-A'


Within the past few days, PSP owners were kept on the edge of their seats by reports of FW 3.40 in South Korea and in Japan. Well, soon enough, the latest firmware version for the Sony handheld reached North American shores, and without fail, coders and homebrew devs set to work on it immediately. And who else would keep the ball rolling but Dark_A?

We all love XBMC (well the people that know about it love it).T3CH has been compiling binary releases for long while now and we used to have to look for them in a lot of different places around the web which was frustrating at times.
The great news is that he lately found a good host and started his own website where he's posting releases on a weekly basis with an rss feed available.

AACS hacked to expose Volume ID on Xbox360 HD DVD Addon

They've done it again! "In parallel efforts, hackers in both the Xboxhacker and Doom9 forums have exposed the "Volume ID" for discs played on XBOX 360 HD DVD drives. Any inserted disc will play without first authenticating with AACS, even those with Volume IDs which have already been revoked by the AACS LA due to previous hacking efforts."

Free60: X.org Driver and a new 'Full' Gentoo LiveCD for Xbox360

This is a liveCD for Linux on the Xbox 360. It is based on the experimental gentoo liveCD that can be found here.It has a few changes to boot on the Xbox 360 (codename xenon).Currently, Samsung drives aren't supported, there is no sound driver, and you should use vga output for better results.
